Ford just unveiled their UNIVERSAL ELECTRIC VEHICLE PLATFORM & PRODUCTION SYSTEM… and my initial reaction is that FORD is copying TESLA… and Elon has himself to blame!

This video is going to be about FORD but to be fair we have to talk also about Tesla because there are many similarities between what we learned from Ford today and what Tesla told us about 2 years ago.

At INVESTOR DAY 2023 - VP of Engineering Lars Moravy and Chief Designer Franz von Holzhausen bragged about what Tesla had already accomplished - and what they had up their sleeve NEXT what they called their UNBOXED PROCESS. Ford took inspiration from Tesla's idea and applied it to their Universal EV Production System... leveraging it to develop a $30,000 Electric Pickup Truck.
