This video shows you how to make a mini vortex air cannon out of a red solo cup, a balloon, and duct tape.

▶️ How to make a vortex air cannon:
Step 1: Trace a quarter on the bottom of a red solo cup, and cut a hole.

Step 2: Take the balloon, and cut the larger part in half.

Step 3: Stretch the end of the balloon over the opening of the cup. Make sure it is a pretty tight fit, and tape it in place.

Step 4: Tap the stretched balloon to fire vortex air from the cut opening.
Optional: Use dry ice fog to make the vortex ring more visible.

▶️ How the vortex air cannon works:
A vortex is an area of a rapidly rotating fluid. Tapping the balloon forces air through the small opening causing the air to rotate as it leaves the cannon, which creates the air vortex.
