There is a lot about the reality of natural bodybuilding that we don't talk about, one of the main issues that so many deal with when they cut down as a natural athlete is that they are smaller. Significantly smaller and for many, men especially, the loss of physical size as a result of reducing their body fat levels can come as a surprise.

Especially given the images we often see of actors and fitness influencers who almost magically get bigger while also decreasing their body fat percentages. Which, unfortunatelty isn't possible for a natural bodybuilder or anyone training naturally, as this is only possible if you are using steroids.

It's hard as most men start bodybuilding as a way to get bigger and so the significant loss of size that comes with being ripped and shredded can be a huge blow. In this video I talk about my experiences with my first natural bodybuilding competition and it's my hope that what I learned over the years can help men and women have a better idea of what to expect when they cut up or get into pre-contest bodybuilding shape.
