Big News for Visa Applicants!
The United States has introduced a new rule: you can no longer travel to a third country just to apply for a US visa. From now on, all types of US visas must be applied for only from your home country.
✅ Exception: If you are legally living, studying, or working in another country (as a resident), you can apply from there as well.
For countries like India, where US visa waiting times are already very long, this rule could mean even more delays and backlogs. But for those already settled abroad, the process won’t change.
