This video was such a blast! I’m beyond excited to share my newly refreshed space for spring. My favorite part of the room right now is the stunning wallpaper. It brings me so much joy! I’m all about creating a cozy, cottage-inspired vibe in my home this year, and this space is the perfect start. Along with decorating, I’m also sharing a fun HomeGoods haul with you all. I picked up some adorable pieces to refresh my powder room, and I can’t wait to show you how everything came together!

TIPS AND TRICKS:

Prep Walls: Clean and smooth your walls before applying the wallpaper.

Measure & Cut: Measure the wall and cut wallpaper into manageable strips. (MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDE EXTRA OVERHANG ON THE TOP AND BOTTOM)

Start at the Top: Align wallpaper with the previous one you already hung match your seems.

Score: Use your red spatula tool to push the wallpaper up to the ceiling creating a scoring line you will cut off later after applying. NOTE: I USE THIS TOOL WITH MY KNIFE AS A GUIDE WHEN CUTTING.

Peel Slowly: Peel the backing as you apply to avoid wrinkles and bubbles.

Smooth It Out: Use a smoothing tool or credit card to remove air bubbles.

Trim Edges: Cut excess wallpaper at the top, bottom, and sides for a neat look.

What to Look for When Buying Peel and Stick Wallpaper:

Quality Adhesive: Look for strong but reposition-able adhesive.

Durable Material: Opt for vinyl or non-woven for durability and ease of cleaning. I used this in my laundry room. But my Powder Room a used a matte textured look for a high end look.

Pattern Match: Ensure patterns align at seams for a seamless look.

Right Size: Check the roll size to cover your space. Add one extra roll to your cart, you just never know. Plus, it is nice to have in the future just in case it's discontinued.

Easy Removal: Choose wallpapers that are removable without damaging walls.

These simple steps will help you get the perfect peel-and-stick wallpaper installation!
