To realistically attempt this fight you should have:

✔️ S-Tier build
✔️ Pit 115+ capable character
✔️ Full masterworked gear
✔️ All required mythics and uniques
✔️ Legendary glyphs
✔️ Full set charms
✔️ Strong mobility skill

For Warlocks:
👉 Apocalypse Build is currently the strongest option for this encounter.

🔥 Echo of Mephisto Fight Phases

This is a massive 3-phase boss fight.

⚡ Phase 1 – Echo of Akarat

Before facing Mephisto himself, you must defeat:

👉 Echo of Akarat False Prophet

This phase includes:
• teleport attacks
• lightning strikes
• exploding circles
• flying swords
• arena-wide attacks

Mobility is ESSENTIAL here.

🔥 Phase 2 – Echo of Mephisto

After the cutscene:
👉 Mephisto finally appears.

Major mechanics include:

✔️ Fireball rain
✔️ Poison pools & waves
✔️ Shadow beam
✔️ Soul consumption attack
✔️ Spiked shadow projectiles

This phase heavily punishes bad positioning.

💀 Phase 3 – Heart of Hatred

The final phase is where things become truly insane.

Mephisto can:
• steal your powers
• summon instant death hands
• create whirlpools
• unleash giant energy beams
• overwhelm the arena with nonstop attacks

The most important mechanic:
👉 Recovering your stolen abilities quickly.

Movement speed and mobility skills are critical.

✔️ Mobility Is EVERYTHING

For Warlock:
• Nether Step
• Extra charge modifier
• Gloomwalker invulnerability

These helped massively.

✔️ Stay Calm

This fight becomes much easier once you stop panicking and begin recognizing the patterns.

You WILL die many times learning:
• attack timings
• positioning
• movement patterns

✔️ Stay Close to Mephisto

Many attacks are actually easier to survive if you remain near him instead of fighting from range.
