I apologize for the correction, but they are actually made out of VEGGIE-TANNED leather, not vegan leather. Vegan leather can actually be very toxic to parrots depending on what it is made out of and what process they use (the majority uses polyurethane which can release extremely toxic gases). Normal leather is toxic to birds due to the chemicals that they use when making the leather. However, veggie-tanned leather avoids all those toxins, making it still a wonderful, safe, and all natural part of the toy for your flock to play with.
