Panerai isn't chasing trends, but it's rather chasing its own history, with new purpose-built watches with large diameters, seriously robust constructions and lengthy power reserves. But also that stout born-for-action attitude that's been part of its story since the early days of the brand!

First up is a pair of 44mm Luminor models, with the PAM01731 and "Destro" PAM01732, reinterpreting the iconic Ref. 6152/1. Then, there's a new Luminor 8 Days PAM01733, or 8 Giorni for purists in 44mm, with a brushed aged "Brunito" PVD finish. Last, but certainly not least, we get the 47mm PAM01735 in steel and matte ivory, and the equally sized PAM01629 in forged titanium with an anthracite dial.
