Google Brings AI-Powered Review Summaries to Play Store
Google is rolling out AI-generated app review summaries powered by Gemini on the Play Store. Under the “Users are saying” section, users will now see a concise summary of an app’s pros and cons making it easier to decide without scrolling through hundreds of reviews. The feature, currently being tested on select Android versions, also lets users explore interactive tags to deep-dive into specific aspects like performance or design.
Microsoft and Lambda Strengthen AI Supercomputing Partnership
Lambda has struck a multibillion-dollar deal with Microsoft to deploy thousands of Nvidia GPUs, including the cutting-edge GB300 NVL72 systems, bolstering Microsoft’s AI supercomputing infrastructure. CEO Stephen Balaban called it a “milestone moment” in their eight-year collaboration. This follows Microsoft’s $9.7 billion investment with Australian firm IREN to scale its global AI cloud capacity.
OpenAI Offers Free ChatGPT Go Access for Indian Users
In a special gesture for India’s fast-growing AI community, OpenAI is offering its premium ChatGPT Go plan free for one year to Indian users. Announced during the inaugural DevDay Exchange Bengaluru, the plan includes file uploads, image generation, and extended message limits. OpenAI says India has become one of its fastest-growing markets, with premium sign-ups doubling just a month after launch.
New LinkedIn Phishing Campaign Targets Financial Executives
Cybersecurity experts have flagged a LinkedIn phishing campaign impersonating recruiters from fake investment firms to steal Microsoft credentials. According to Push Security, attackers send malicious URLs via direct messages that redirect users to counterfeit login pages. Experts advise users to verify recruiter profiles, avoid clicking on unfamiliar links, and report suspicious activity immediately.
