One of the most common traps in the IELTS Reading test is the use of absolute words like always, never, all, only, must, completely, or entirely. These words make very strong statements that leave no room for exceptions.
Why is this important? In IELTS True/False/Not Given questions, the test makers often use absolute words to create a trap.
So, whenever you see absolute words in a question, slow down. Double-check the passage. If the text doesn’t match 100%, the answer is often FALSE.
