For Atari ST lovers i wanted to record how the floppy sounds when booting some St Games. Order : Black tiger, Blood Money, Epic , 944 turbo cup. You can feel that each of this game has its own signature. Sometimes it looks that the drive almost stops working and sometimes the loading sounds are totally different. I assume its related to the "type" of data the drive loads? If somebody knows ;) I'm curious.

Computer : Atari STE 4160 (520 STE upgraded)
Directly recorded in Logic Pro X with a very simple treatment on the track : EQ to cut the low ends and some gain as the floppy drive is not really loud.
The recording session has happened in a very quiet room. The mic is directly positioned on the case where the drive is.
