Sounds good, right? $300.00 tradelines or $200.00 tradelines. Heck, why don't we make them free. No, why don't companies pay you to add you as an authorized user tradeline.

Look, if people are selling you one hundred, two hundred or three hundred dollar tradelines, there's really only two options:

1) They just started and don't realize that they will go out of business if they sell tradelines that cheap.
2) They're not really going to add tradelines anyway and they're just taking your money (because they know suckers for a good deal will convince themselves away from the obviousness that tradelines have a cost).

Here's the reality: Tradelines cost money because it takes money to coordinate the effort. If you cut cost, you're cutting effort. If you're cutting effort, something is bound to go wrong. So, are you looking for a deal or are you looking to achieve a goal. If you're looking to achieve a credit goal, stop getting ripped off and change your mindset, right now.

What do tradelines cost money at all?

The card holder who adds you must be compensated. By the way, all card holders get paid more than $100.00, so buying tradelines for $100.00 is already impossible. There are organizers (like the companies brokering the deal and connecting the client and the service provider) who exchange their labor for a fee. Cutting them out can reduce your costs and increase your liability and exposure to issues.

Businesses have trust accounts, licenses, bonds, etc., which cost money and time (which is also money) and they need to pay their bills.

Businesses (legitimate ones) have expenses like internet, power, office space, phones, websites, etc. Do you want to work with someone in their parent's basement on a google voice line selling snake oil on craigslist? If so, you will pay $300.00. The question is, what do you get for that $300.00?

Let's we're not trying to be negative, but we have seen a growing trend of companies and complaints against them for not doing what the client expects.

Also, there's another issue: Some companies are advertising cheap tradelines as a bait and switch. People actually get frustrated with us for telling the truth about pricing and they do NOT get mad at people who lie directly to them. Call the company offering cheap tradelines and tell me they don't switch out the line once you're on the phone. I'd be the line with the price you like "isn't' available."

Finally, you really need to think about goals, not price. Pricing consideration is okay, but often times people loose sight of their goal and waste time chasing the financial ghost of tradeline deals.
