This is a tutorial on how to Copy Pictures from a Camera, USB Drive, Or Memory Card and put them in a folder on your computer.

If you want to pull pictures off of your camera, USB drive, or memory card to save on your computer, follow these instructions.

First, if there is not already an existing folder you would like to use, you need to create a folder. For this example, I am going to create a folder in the "Pictures" section of "My documents." To do this, you need to open the "Pictures" folder (Go into "my documents" to locate the picture folder.) Once you do this, right click your mouse inside the folder. Hold your mouse over "new" in the menu that pops up to pull up the options and then click "Folder." Now you have the option of naming the folder. I am going to name this one 123 Woodland Blvd.

Second, plug your camera, usb drive, or memory card in to your computer. Once you do this, wait a minute to let it register on the computer. A dialog box should pop up.

Click "Open folder to view files." This allows you to search through the folder to choose which files you would like to transfer to your computer. Find the pictures you would like to use.

To select the files you would like on your computer, hold down the "ctrl" button on your keyboard and click each picture you would like to transfer.

Once you have them all selected, right click on one of the pictures and click "Copy."

Next, open the folder you created earlier in the "Pictures" section of "My documents" (Or whatever location you put it in.) Once it is open, right click with your mouse and then click "paste."

All of your pictures are now copied to the new location. You will still have a backup copy on your camera or usb drive if you do it this way.
