2023年最後を飾る本セールでは、著名海外作家の優品を多数ご紹介いたします。東京都現代美術館で大規模個展を開催中のデイヴィッド・ホックニーの2枚組リトグラフをはじめ、カウズのオリジナルのペインティング、ジャン・ミッシェル・バスキアやアンディ・ウォーホルのシルクスクリーンが登場いたします。ウォーホル作品は、ドナルドダックやマリリン・モンローなど、戦後アメリカの消費社会や大衆文化をモチーフとしたアイコニックなイメージが出揃いますのでご期待ください。

SBI Art Auction is pleased to present the “61st SBI Art Auction｜MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY ART" on Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Daikanyama Hillside Forum.

In our final sale of 2023, we are proud to introduce numerous outstanding pieces by esteemed international artists. Featured works include a set of two lithographs by David HOCKNEY, currently showcasing a major solo exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, original paintings by KAWS, and silkscreen prints by Jean-Michel BASQUIAT and Andy WARHOL. WARHOL's pieces, in particular, are a must-see, displaying iconic images that represent post-war American consumer society and popular culture, including Donald Duck and Marilyn Monroe.
