As a Filipino living in France, I love going to Jardiland a French garden centre outlet, as one aspect of my Pinoy life in France is creating a wonderful garden at our holiday cottage for our guest to enjoy.

As a Filipino living in France for the last 6 years, I have just started vlogs to show what Filipino life in France is all about and I hope you enjoy this series of vlogs showcasing my Filipino French life.

We have three Jardiland's all within 25 minutes of our holiday cottages and over the years of living in France, we have spent thousands of euros in Jardiland creating the sub tropical garden that we enjoy.

We have Jardiland Lanester, Jardiland Pontivy and Jardiland Vannes all very close by.

Jardiland offers such a range of plants that it caters to all taste be it like us creating a sub-tropical garden to those enjoying house plants.

Jardiland also offers a large range of pet supplies to purchase plus animals, fish and birds - Jardiland also offers all the housing for whatever pet you are looking to home.

Because we shop so often at Jardiland we have joined their customer loyalty scheme where you are invited to pre-sale openings and to obtain loyalty rewards in the form of Jardiland discount vouchers.

As all three Jardilands are 25 miles from our cottage, when buying larger items Jardiland does offer a delivery service.

In the past, we bought 2 large cordyline plants that weighed over 100kg each and were 8 feet tall but for the price of 40 euro Jardiland delivered to our house.

French life as a Pinoy took a while to adjust but with me, it was slightly different from most Filipinos living in France in that I lived and worked in the UK for 9 years before my Filipino french life started.

As a Filipino living in France, it was 2 years before I met another Filipino living here, once I met that Pinoy I was made aware of several Filipino communities living and working in France.

Most Filipino's living in France when leaving the Philippines expected their Filipino French life to be living in Paris - trust me there is a big difference from a life in Paris to living in rural France.

From one Filipino to another make sure you know where your French life will be to avoid disappointment. I spent several holidays in France before making the commitment to start a life in rural France to make sure it was the right move for me, that way I was not disappointed with my Filipino French life and I thrived in my new home.
