WHY MODERN LIFE FEELS SO EMPTY!

We live in an era where meaning and purpose seem increasingly elusive. Modern relativism reduces beauty, goodness, and worth to mere opinions, dismissing the idea of objective value. Meanwhile, absolute truths are rejected unless scientifically provable, leaving questions of purpose and morality in the shadows. Despite technological progress and material abundance, many feel a profound emptiness.

Friedrich Nietzsche warned of this crisis with his declaration, “God is dead.” He wasn’t celebrating but lamenting the loss of a moral and spiritual framework. Without it, he foresaw the rise of nihilism—a belief in the absence of inherent meaning—leaving humanity adrift. Today, despite material advancements, this crisis persists, reflected in rising mental health issues and societal disconnection. Nietzsche’s warning about the dangers of nihilism remains relevant, urging us to confront the void left by a loss of purpose and connection.
