I used to think purpose was something you eventually found.

Like one day I’d move to the right city, build the right business, make enough money, stop working for someone else, and then this feeling would finally arrive.

But I’ve done a lot of the things I thought would make me feel free, and the weird thing is, I still wake up as me.

In this video, I talk through why I don’t think purpose is a destination, why chasing the next version of yourself can quietly rob you of the moment you’re actually in, and why the thing you’re looking for might not live in the benchmarks.

This isn’t guru advice. I don’t have this solved. It’s just an honest thought about purpose, happiness, ambition, service, and what happens when your life looks like freedom from the outside but you still have to be alone inside it.
