A Bangladesh Air Force F-7 trainer aircraft crashed in the Uttara area of Dhaka on a Monday. The jet, which was on a routine training sortie, crashed onto the Milestone School and College building while students were present. The incident, which occurred around 1:30 PM, has resulted in a number of injuries, with at least 13 people suffering from severe burns. According to the transcript, casualties are feared, with Bangladesh media reporting at least one fatality. One speaker noted, "the casualties are severe casualties. So, the numbers may go up." Emergency services, including the Bangladesh Army and fire department, rushed to the populated area to conduct rescue operations as visuals showed a plume of smoke and significant damage to the school building.
