Class of 2026 medical student Kaitlyn Novotny was selected as part of the 2025 NFL Sports Medicine Pipeline Program, an initiative that provides medical students from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sports medicine.

Kaitlyn completed her elective with the Las Vegas Raiders medical staff, where she worked alongside team physicians, athletic trainers, and physical therapists during practices and games. The program gave her direct exposure to the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of elite athletes, as well as insight into the unique demands of providing medical care in a professional sports setting.
