Hello and welcome to my epic journey through the classic, brutal Minecraft modpack: GregTech: New Horizons (GTNH) — once again!
This is Take 3! But this time, I’m doing things a little differently...

Instead of a regular world, I’m starting in a void world on hard difficulty, with literally NOTHING.
Oh, and did I mention?
I’m playing on the 3.0.0 Steamgate update!

The Steamgate update completely reworks GTNH’s early game by forcing you to rely on steam power only.
Your ultimate goal? Construct the Steamgate and overcome the many new tech tree changes and multiblock mechanics.

To add even more to the mix, I've set myself a set of rules/config changes which I've written out below;

No Pollution
No Hardcore Darkness
No dying to the void on purpose (for health/hunger reset)
300 total lives max — once I hit that, it's GG!
Mob farming allowed (slimes, etc.)
No rage quitting — stay strong, Dan!

This is my third recorded attempt at this challenge, but my first time diving into the Steamgate version — and I’m honestly really intrigued.

There’s going to be a ton of new stuff to learn, figure out, and break along the way.
Looking forward to building out new steam-based multiblocks, testing new mechanics, and progressing through the reworked questlines.
