In this tutorial, we're going to look at customisable dashboards for booked jobs.

On the left-hand side of the page is the index for booked jobs. You can view jobs belonging to categories such as land, sea, and air, as well as create a new booked job.

The customizable dashboard settings are found under this cog-wheel icon.

All of these fields represent columns which can be selected to include in your dashboard.

First, we'll click 'deselect all' and then begin checking the boxes for the columns that we want to include.

In the lower half, you can see the columns that we've selected.

The columns will appear in this order, going from left to right.

You can drag them up or down to change the order that they will appear.

When you're done, click 'apply columns' at the bottom.

As you can see, the columns appear from left-to-right in the order that we specified.

You can save your layout by saving it as a universal report, or a personal report.

To demonstrate, we're going to save a universal report called 'Customer Report',

and a personal report called 'My Report'.

When you save them, they will appear right here in a list with the names that we gave them.

Now let's click 'restore defaults'. Our columns have been reset, but we can quickly restore our preferences by going into 'saved reports', and then clicking on the report that we saved earlier.

The settings menu also has an option to use compact view, which we have been using.

This is how it would look without compact view. This can help with readability. In comparison, compact view allows you to see more jobs on the screen at once.
