If you want to learn how to draw in 2022, a sketch walk is a great exercise, even in the cold. In this video, I break down my steps for a simple sketchbook page and some of the decisions I made.

During winter, keeping up with your sketchbook habits can be tough, and not every spread is going to be a masterpiece. (Believe me, this wasn't my best work!) However, it's always good practice finding ways to illustrate your environment, and even if you walk away learning one thing - about color, line, texture, or technique - it's worth the effort.
