ドゥシャンベはタジキスタンの首都であり、同国最大の都市です。
他の中央アジアの都市と同様、多くの公園や広場があり、とても美しく整備されています。
ドゥシャンベの有名観光名所のひとつがドゥシャンベの旗竿 (Dushanbe flagpole) です。
高さは165メートルで、2011年に完成した当時は世界で最も高い旗竿でした。(現在は世界で4番目）
残念ながら、この動画が撮影されたときは無風だったため、旗はまったくはためいていませんでした。
もし風が吹いていたら、巨大で迫力満点なタジキスタン国旗を見ることができたでしょう。
