2026年4月19日に新潟県小千谷市上空で、航空自衛隊松島基地所属の第4航空団飛行群第11飛行隊のアクロバット飛行チーム ブルーインパルスによる展示飛行が行われます。
平成16年(2004年)に新潟県中越地方を震源とした新潟県中越大震災から復興を果たした新潟県小千谷市に対して全国からいただいた温かい支援に感謝するとともに、全国で頻発する災害に遭われた被災地へのエールを送るため、「中越大震災復興記念祭」を20年目の節目に開催予定でしたが、令和6年の台風の影響により中止となりました。
今回は同イベントの開催に再び挑戦するもので、小千谷市内各所でイベントやブルーインパルスによる展示飛行が実施されます。

On April 19, 2026, the Blue Impulse aerobatic team of the 11th Squadron, 4th Air Wing, based at Matsushima Air Base of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force will perform an aerial demonstration over Ojiya City, Niigata Prefecture Japan.
In gratitude for the warm support received from all over the country for Ojiya City, Niigata Prefecture, which has recovered from the Niigata Chuetsu Earthquake that struck the Chuetsu region of Niigata Prefecture in 2004, and in order to send encouragement to disaster-stricken areas that have been frequently affected by disasters throughout the country, we had planned to hold the "Chuetsu Earthquake Recovery Commemoration Festival" to mark the 20th anniversary, but it was canceled due to the effects of the typhoon in 2024.
This time, the event, which was previously canceled, will be held again, with various events taking place throughout Ojiya City and demonstration flights by the Blue Impulse.
