Following her signing with Atlantic, Illinois-native Kiiara released her 2015 debut single "Gold", garnering over 700 million streams and peaking at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her Gold-certified collaboration with Linkin Park, “Heavy,” earned Kiiara a nomination for Top Rock Song at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards.
