This is the first course of a lecture series to give medical students and residents a better idea about conduction of research studies, writing and analysis. This course covers forms of research misconduct such as fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism. It also cover dual and duplicate submission, conflict of interest, and authorship. In addition, the IRB process is described with a template of an IRB protocol.
