Once the king of sound and speed, the V10 engine is almost extinct.
From BMW’s E60 M5 and Audi’s V10 sedans, to supercars like the Gallardo and Lexus LFA, V10s defined an era. But high costs, complexity, and poor efficiency made them impractical. Turbo V8s and hybrids took over, offering more power and better economy — leaving the V10 behind.
